             ยางอินเดียเป็นที่รู้จักกันมานานแล้วในบ้านเรา ใบมีสีเขียวเข้มเป็นมัน ใบหนาปลายใบแหลม
ยางอินเดียนี้ถ้าเกิดมีบาดแผลขึ้นไม่ว่าส่วนใดของลำต้นจะมีน้ำยางสีขาวข้นไหลออกมาทันที ยาง
อินเดียเมื่อปล่อยให้เจริญเติบโตไปนาน ๆ จะมีรากอากาศห้อยย้อยออกมาจากลำต้น โตเต็มที่อาจ
สูงถึง 30 เมตร เลยทีเดียว


การดูแลรักษา
แสง       ชอบแสงและทนความร้อนได้ดี
น้ำ         ต้องการน้ำปานกลาง
ดิน         เจริญเติบโตได้ดีในดินร่วนซุย ที่มีการระบายน้ำดี
ปุ๋ย         ควรใส่ปุ๋ยคอกหรือปุ๋ยหมัก ปีละ 2-3 ครั้ง ในช่วงที่ยังเล็กอยู่
การขยายพันธ์     ตอนกิ่งหรือ ปักชำ
โรคและแมลง       ทนต่อการรบกวนของโรคและแมลง

เป็นพืชที่สามารถดูดสารพิษช่วยฟอกอากาศภายในบ้านและสำนักงานได้อย่างดีเยี่ยม
