ต้นพิกุลทอง (Pikulthong)

                   พิกุลทองเป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้นขนาดกลาง ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 8-15 เมตร ผิวเปลือกสีนำตาลเข้ม มีรอยแตกบาง ๆ ตามยาวลำต้นแตกกิ่งก้านเป็นพุ่มแน่นกว้างเป็นทรงกลมใบออกเรียงสลับกันใบมนรูปไข่ปลายแหลมลักษณะโคนใบมนสอบขอบใบโค้งเป็นคลื่นเล็กใบเป็นมันสีเขียวขนาดใบกว้างประมาณ3-5 เซนติเมตรยาวประมาณ5-8 เซนติเมตรออกดอกเป็นกระจุกตามง่ามใบหรือยอดมีกลีบดอกประมาณ8 กลีบเรียงซ้อนกันกลีบดอกเป็นจักรเล็กน้อยดอกเล็กสีขาวนวลมีกลิ่นหอมมากผลรูปใข่หรือกลมรีผล แก่มีสีแสด เนื้อในเหลืองรสหวาน ภายในมีเมล็ดเดียวขนาดผลกว้างประมาณ 1-2 เซนติเมตร ยาวประมาณ 2-3 เซนติเมตร
