ต้นยางด่าง ( Rubber plant )

             ยางด่างนี้จัดเป็นไม้ยืนต้นขนาดใหญ่ ทรงพุ่มหนาและทึบ จะมีรากอากาศแตกออกมาตามลำต้น ใบหนาและค่อนข้างแข็ง มีความมันเลื่อมเส้นกลางใบเป็นสีครีม ส่วนกลางใบจะมีสีเขียวเข้มปนสีเขียวอมเทาริมใบด่างเหลืองและสีครีม ส่วนยอดอ่อนจะมีสีแดงสด

การดูแลรักษา
แสง       ชอบแสงมาก โดยเฉพาะแสงแดดที่จัด
น้ำ          ให้น้ำพอประมาณอย่าให้ขังแฉะ
ดิน         เจริญเติบโตได้ดีในดินร่วนปนทราย
ปุ๋ย         ควรใส่ปุ๋ยคอกหรือปุ๋ยหมักที่โคนต้น ปีละ 2 ครั้ง
การขยายพันธ์      ตอนกิ่งและ ปักชำ
โรคและแมลง         ไม่ค่อยพบโรคและแมลงรบกวน
